Job Description
This is a premier opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist seeking advanced surgical complexity, stability, and long-term financial security in a major academic environment.
Practice at the highest-acuity hospital in Nevada, serving as the region's referral hub for complex cardiac, thoracic, trauma, and transplant cases. This facility is home to the state's only Level I Trauma Center, only Verified Burn Center, and a comprehensive transplant program, offering a level of case complexity not found elsewhere in the market.
You will provide anesthesia across a full spectrum of cardiothoracic procedures, including:
Open heart and bypass surgery
Complex valve and structural heart cases
Multi-stage aortic surgery
Minimally invasive and robotic thoracic procedures
Esophageal resections and advanced VATS cases
This is an employed model focused on clinical excellence—not production pressure, with a stable, team-based environment and consistent high-acuity case mix.
