seeking a Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist starting January 2026
--Either 8 hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7am- weekend and night call an option but not required
--Shift varies based on surgical schedule and hospital needs
--Includes weekday, night call, and weekend call coverage
--Reason for Coverage: Open position; hiring for permanent provider
--EMR: Cerner
--Trauma Level II
--Provider must be available minimum 1-2 weeks per month
--Required Procedures:
- General Surgical Cases (Adult)
- IV Regional Anesthesia
- Plexus Anesthesia
- Open Heart Anesthesia
- Thoracic Cases (Except Open Heart)
- Complex Vascular Cases (Except Open Heart)
- Spinal Anesthesia
- Regional Anesthesia
- Local Infiltration
- Ventilation Management
--Insertion of:
- TEE
- PA Catheter
- Arterial Line
- Central Line
--Required to CRNAs
--Required: BC Anesthesiology, NJ license, ACLS, BLS, Proficiency in Open Heart, Thoracic (non-Open Heart), and Complex Vascular Cases, Experience with TEE, PA Catheter, Arterial Line, and Central Line Insertion
--Preferred: Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia
