This hospital is an active facility providing anesthesia and surgical services across a broad range of specialties within an organized surgical program. The facility maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Delaware offers a range of regional attractions and activities suited to diverse interests, including coastal areas, state parks, and outdoor recreation opportunities. The state features historical sites, cultural venues, and accessible natural landscapes throughout its regions. Clinicians on assignment will find varied options for leisure and exploration during time away from the clinical setting.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts within a perioperative setting, with call required at a minimum of 1 week per month. Call obligations include 2-3 weeknights of CV call from 7 PM to 7 AM and 1 weekend of CV call on 24-hour shifts with a 30-minute callback requirement. The surgical case mix includes cardiac, thoracic, general surgery, orthopedic, OB, GYN, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry procedures; CRNAs participate in every CV case as part of the staffing model. Board certification in Anesthesiology and TEE certification are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
