Shift Details
-- Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-- Weekends are call only
-- Night call required every 3–4 days
Requirements
-- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
-- Active Iowa license or IMLC with LOQ
-- ACLS certification
-- Availability for a minimum of two weeks per month
-- Availability required during the weeks of November 23 and December 21
-- COVID vaccination
-- Clean malpractice history with no settled or pending cases
Required Procedures/Skills
-- Conscious sedation
Assignment Details
-- Facility hiring multiple candidates
-- Level III trauma center
-- OB coverage required, including TOLAC
-- Pediatric cases included, primarily tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies
-- Some supervision required
-- Anesthesia team includes six physicians and two CRNAs
-- Thirteen operating rooms
-- Department averages 30–50 cases per day
-- EMR: Epic
