Job Description
Seeking a full time Physiatrist PMR-Physician for private practice in Brooklyn NY 11234
NO call, no evening and no weekends needed.
The Physiatrist will be seeing 20 - 25 patients a day.
Duties
· Taking histories and performing physical exams.
· Prescribing physical therapy if needed.
Ordering diagnostic tests like xrays, MRIs, EMGs if needed.
· Dictating reports.
· Rare appearances in court to testify on behalf of their patients. (The doctor generally will receive 2 - $3000 for their testimony. This is paid directly to the doctor by the patient's attorney.)
· Rare telephone testimony.
compensation
· Starting salary $200+ depending upon experience
· Benefits: paid malpractice insurance, health insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays.
