- Call only coverage -- Q5 call ratio (every 5th day)
- 30-minute call response time required
- Avg. 5 patients per shift -- rounding on assigned patients
- Inpatient cardiology setting
- Invasive cardiology required -- diagnostic and interventional
- Required: STEMI, cardiac cath, angioplasty, stent placement
- Required: IABP placement, PA catheter placement, pacemaker
- Preferred: TEE, cardiac ablation, electrophysiology
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
