Locum Cardiology Position - 45 minutes from Tacoma, WA
Job Description
Hospital system is seeking a Locum BC Cardiologist for outpatient clinic coverage
-- 2–3 weeks per month; Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; 3+ month contract
-- Provider will initially work at a seperate location until privileges are granted at a second affiliated clinic (likely Mondays at the second site)
-- Responsibilities include new consults, follow-ups, and transfer of care patients
-- Primary responsibility is seeing patients in clinic and following up on generated results
-- Encounters must be closed within 24 hours
-- Result ECGs ordered for patient care
-- May be asked to result Zio monitors when backlog exists
-- May be asked to supervise nursing visits and stress tests including signing off on nursing documentation
-- No echo or stress test interpretation expected
-- Support staff includes MA, RN, and echo techs
-- EMR: Epic
-- Washington state license or IMLC, DEA, ACLS, and BLS required
