This facility is seeking a locum tenens Cardiologist to assist with inpatient cardiovascular coverage, with a focus on Cardiac MRI interpretation. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis, with NP support in place to facilitate care delivery. Candidates must hold board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases and demonstrate level II or III training.

The assignment area offers clinicians access to a range of cultural, entertainment, and recreational options suited to varied interests. The region is home to diverse urban and suburban communities, outdoor recreation opportunities, and a variety of dining and entertainment venues. Clinicians seeking outdoor pursuits will find options for hiking, paddling, and visiting local wineries and breweries throughout the surrounding region.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on an on-site basis. Primary clinical responsibilities include interpreting Cardiac MRI studies at a volume of 3-4 per day and monitoring inpatient cardiovascular patients throughout each assigned coverage period. No call requirements are associated with this assignment. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases, level II or III training, and an active state license are required for consideration.
