-- In-house coverage during the day with trauma call by beeper at night
-- Coverage includes acute care surgery and trauma call coverage

Call Details
-- Required response time: 20 minutes
-- On-call, ED consults, and urgent OR coverage

Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible
-- Active Arkansas license
-- ATLS

Assignment Details

-- Census can exceed 30 patients per day and includes acute care surgical cases
-- Facility Trauma Level III
-- Supervision of APPs required (2 PA/NPs available)
-- Immediate need due to staffing gap while recruiting for a permanent Acute Care Surgeon position to maintain 24/7 coverage and patient access
-- EMR: Epic
