This inpatient facility maintains established critical care protocols and the clinical resources necessary to support MICU-level services on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to provide sole-intensivist day shift coverage with call responsibilities, supported by a dedicated MICU nursing team to ensure continuity of care for critically ill patients. Locum tenens coverage is sought for the designated holiday dates listed to support ongoing clinical operations.

The area is home to a natural sandstone arch standing 65 feet high and 78 feet long, set within a 2,200-acre park located in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The park offers a range of amenities and activities, including dining, a gift shop, a nature center, a swimming pool, fishing, camping, and hiking. A regional historical museum in the surrounding area displays artifacts from the area's iron, logging, and railroad industries, along with a reconstructed log schoolhouse and a historic millstone collection.

The clinician will serve as the sole MD providing critical care coverage in the MICU during day shifts with call responsibilities, managing critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support interventions. MICU nursing staff will be available on-site to support clinical operations throughout the assignment. The clinician will coordinate patient care in accordance with established critical care protocols and maintain electronic documentation standards.
