Position Description

(Login for Information) is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services on a PRN / per diem basis at our outpatient surgical facility in Ocala, Florida.

This opportunity is ideal for an anesthesia professional seeking flexible scheduling in a collaborative ambulatory surgery center environment. The successful candidate will work alongside surgeons and clinical staff to provide safe, effective, and compassionate anesthesia care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and patient assessments.

• Develop and implement appropriate anesthesia care plans.

• Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures.

• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to clinical changes.

• Provide appropriate post-anesthesia care and support patient recovery.

• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing personnel to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Adhere to applicable clinical, regulatory, and infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Florida APRN license with appropriate CRNA authorization.

• Current national CRNA certification.

• Previous anesthesia experience required.

• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication skills.

• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality clinical care.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a PRN / per diem opportunity. Scheduling will be coordinated according to the facility's surgical schedule and staffing needs.

Compensation and the specific staffing arrangement are open for discussion with qualified candidates.
