About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within inpatient and operating room settings, with call coverage required. The preferred schedule is 5x8s, though 4x10s will be considered; the facility is open to a two-provider rotation of two weeks on, two weeks off, with weekend call coverage between onsite rotations. The call schedule is approximately 1:3, including 1-2 holiday call assignments annually; weeknight call extends until 11:00 PM, and weekend call runs from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The surgical case mix includes bread-and-butter anesthesia, scopes, laparoscopic abdominal surgeries, cataracts, podiatry, orthopedics, vascular procedures, cardiology cases including TEEs and cardioversions, and inpatient ward and emergency department support for airway and IV access needs. Clinicians must be comfortable with general anesthesia, MAC, and regional anesthesia; block experience is preferred but not required, as refresher training is available. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required.
