Shift Details
-- On-site coverage
-- Nights, weekends, and call coverage required
-- Available shift lengths include 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours
-- Twelve-hour shifts are primarily needed on Thursdays and Fridays
-- Twenty-four-hour shifts are primarily needed on holidays and surrounding dates
-- Weekday physician call shifts consist of working the day shift followed by overnight call
-- Weekend physician coverage consists of 24-hour shifts
-- Call coverage is unrestricted with a 30-minute response time
-- OB CRNA 24-hour coverage is in-house

Requirements
-- ACLS certification required
-- NBCRNA certification required for CRNAs or ABA certification required
-- OB CRNAs must have a minimum of one year of CRNA experience with OB experience
-- Physicians should have call coverage experience

-- Labor epidurals
-- Regional blocks
-- Line placement

Assignment Details
-- Approximately 15 anesthetizing locations depending on the day
-- Cases include General, Endoscopy, OB, Cardiac EP, and other procedures excluding ENT, Pediatrics, Neuro, and CV surgical cases
-- Trauma Center Level III Adult
-- Hospital EMR: Sunrise (Altera)
-- Anesthesia documentation: MedAxion
-- Anesthesia nurses and support techs available
-- CRNAs may work all case types except CV cases, which are covered by the cardiac team
-- OB CRNA providers assigned to 24-hour coverage manage labor epidurals and coordinate with the on-call physician for any cesarean sections or non-epidural OB needs
-- Physician response time for support during call is 30 minutes
-- Anesthesiologists may perform their own cases and provide supervision coverage
-- Anesthesiologists typically supervise no more than three CRNAs
-- After-hours anesthesiologist call is beeper call
-- Collaborative MD and CRNA team care model with a supportive and respectful culture
-- Patient acuity is varied and allows providers to utilize a broad range of clinical skills
