This ambulatory surgery center provides anesthesia services across a range of outpatient surgical specialties in a structured clinical environment. The facility operates under a physician supervision model with one MD overseeing 6 to 7 operating rooms, supporting organized and efficient case management throughout the workday. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Alexandria, Virginia offers a range of activities suited to diverse interests, including historic walking tours of Old Town, ghost tours, and cycling routes along the Mount Vernon Trail. The area features outdoor recreational opportunities, including fishing at local parks and trail rides, alongside proximity to notable Washington, DC attractions. Clinicians on assignment will find community events and cultural gatherings available throughout the year.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with 8-hour shifts totaling 32 to 40 hours per week. The surgical case mix encompasses orthopedic, ENT, GI, pain, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, and pediatric procedures. The staffing model consists of one MD supervising 6 to 7 operating rooms simultaneously. No call coverage is required, and board certification is required for all clinicians in this role.
