About the Clinician's Workday

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) at this on-site emergency department, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients across all age groups in a lower-volume department with approximately 5,000 annual visits and an average of 14 patients per day. Clinicians will manage a variety of emergency cases, coordinating admissions and transfers as clinically indicated throughout each assigned shift. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
