Los Angeles, CA client is seeking Emergency Medicine boarded physicians for full time, part time and per diem for a Stroke and STEMI Center community ED in a great location minutes from downtown LA. Annual volume of 30,000 visits. Staffed with 24 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of mid-level coverage. Stellar subspecialty back up. Competitive pay with consideration for bonuses. 1099 status.
The back up panel is excellent- Neurosurgeon, Ortho, OB, Hospitalist, etc. They see Peds but will transfer those that need admission.
They see a lot of nursing home patients. The ER has 14 private rooms (not separated by curtains).
Community hospital has 223 beds.
They also respond to code blue upstairs
