Locum Emergency Medicine Assignment - Central Florida
Job Description
Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage starting ASAP
- Duration of need? Until further notice. Anticipate 1-2 years
- No call
- EM Board Eligible after successful completion of accredited Residency or FM/IM with 3 years of Experience (for FSEDs only)
- APP coverage based on location and shift
- Most 7a-7p and 7p-7a at all sites
- There are two 8 hour shifts available per day
- Proficiency in all emergency care procedures is required (Central Access, Arterial Line, Lumbar Puncture, Intubation, Pacing, Orthopedic stabilization, etc.)
- Support staff includes: APP coverage depending on shift and time of day. EM residency program. APP training program as well.
- Average patient census: Most FSEDs are 2 patients per hour. Main sites are more variable.
