Job Description
Hospital is seeking a full-time BC/BE Locum Emergency Medicine physician to join the team
- Contract length: Ongoing
- 11 hour shifts 6a-5p, 11a-10p, 7p-6a
- AM and PM coverage needed
- Staffing model: 2-4 EM providers on site (2 shifts overlap)
- Normal ER support staff
- ED Admission Rate? 12-16%
- There is nurse/APP Triage for lower acuity: fast track area used for triage 8am-6 pm shift coverage (open 8am-2am)
- Number of Patients/Hour? 1.8-2.0
- 2-3 years EM experience
- EMR: Expanse
- Required: GA license, DEA, and no history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
