- 12-hour shifts -- days and nights, including weekends
- Shift times: 6 am - 6 pm, 10 am - 10 pm, 6 pm - 6 am
- Approx. 100 patients per day
- Approx. 40,000 visits per year
- Patient mix: adults, geriatrics, and 10 - 15% pediatrics
- Standard emergency medicine procedures required
- ACLS certification required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
