- 12-hour shifts with balance of days and nights: 7 am - 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am
- Average 1 - 5 physicians on at any given time with 2 - 3 APPs from 8 am - 12 midnight
- Major trauma center with more than 36,000 annual ED visits
