| Duluth, Minnesota- Emergency Medicine PRACTICE SPECIFICS Become part of a growing department of BE/BC emergency medicine physicians staffing two emergency rooms located less than 10 miles apart. Annual ED volume: 42,000 patient visits per year 24-hour coverage; 8-hour shifts; double coverage 19/24 hours with some triple coverage NP/PA coverage weekdays and weekends Admit to Medical Center; 330-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center Adjacent Fast Track minor care area staffed by NP/PAs 23-bed ED including 6-bed pediatric ED Annual ED volume: 14,000-15,000 patient visits per year 24-hour coverage; 8-hour shifts NP/PA coverage from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 3 weekends/month Admit to Hospital: 25 beds, Critical Access Hospital Major traumas referred to Level II Trauma Center in Duluth, less than 10 miles away Long-term dedicated support staff REQUIREMENTS BC/BE Emergency Medicine LOCATION 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area |
