- 12-hour shifts -- 7:30 am - 7:30 pm
- 65 patients per day on average
- Hospital-based emergency medicine setting
- Annual ED volume: 22,500 visits
- Procedures: intubation, arterial lines, LP, paracentesis, thoracentesis
- Additional procedures: I&D, sutures, splinting, EKG, epistaxis control
- Board certification required
- Hospital privileges required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
