- 24-hour shifts -- 7 am to 7 am
- Typically 5 - 7 patients per 24-hour shift; max around 10
- Emergency department setting
- Annual ED volume: ~4,000 patients
- ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- Board certification required
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
