Seeking BE/BC emergency medicine physicians to join teams in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The area provides countless outdoor recreational activities while offering a low cost of living. System is a growing and financially stable healthcare system with 9 hospitals that cover 29 counties in PA. Prospective applicants will be comfortable working at all of our 4 local emergency departments. All facilities are within 30 minutes of main location. Location #1: 28K annual ED patient volume New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023 44 rooms with 4 trauma bays Level II Trauma Center 360 bed hospital 8,9,10 hour shifts 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU Location #2: 14K annual ED patient volume Critical Access Hospital 12 hour shifts Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage Location #3: 8K annual ED patient volume Critical Access Hospital 12, 24 hour shifts Single Physician coverage Location #4: 16K annual ED patient volume Critical Access Hospital 12 hour shifts Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage Incentives / Benefits: ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential Great benefit package 100k sign-on bonus 10k relocation 3k + 40 hours annually for CME 403b with 4% match Malpractice and Tail coverage 18 month stipend - $2,500.00/mo A family-friendly community with excellent school and housing options.
