Computers in each room; physician order entry. Emergency physicians do not write admitting orders or respond to floor codes. ED volume will range from 21k - 43k (depending on location). Epic EMR; M*Modal charting. Variety of scheduling options, 8hr, 12hr, and block scheduling.
