- Night shift coverage -- 11 pm - 7 am, 8-hour shifts
- 15 - 20 shifts per month
- Fewer than 2 patients per hour on average
- Hospital setting -- emergency medicine coverage
- APP support available -- 5 APPs, mix of NPs and PAs
- APP extenders and scribes on staff
- 190 visits per day -- high-volume emergency department
- ABEM board certification and residency training required
