Job Description
Hospital is seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide ongoing coverage starting ASAP
- 1-year duration
- Rotational schedule; morning, mid, and night 10-hour shifts
- 1–2 EM physicians plus APPs per shift
- Daily billable encounters approximately 119; average patient census 101
- Approximately 22.4 daily admissions; annual ER admissions approximately 2,650
- Standard ED procedures required; standard Emergency Medicine case mix
- Accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center; not a trauma center
- Nurse and tech support staff on shift
- EM board certification preferred; FM or IM physicians with 3+ years of EM experience considered
- New graduates welcome
