This hospital-based facility provides specialized endocrinology services across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with an on-site clinic available to support coordinated patient care. The facility operates with structured scheduling and established clinical protocols to support locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods. It is equipped to serve an adult patient population across both inpatient and outpatient endocrinology service lines.

Boston offers a range of historical and cultural experiences, including walking the Freedom Trail, touring the USS Constitution, and exploring the North End neighborhood through food tours featuring local cuisine. Clinicians on assignment may also take to the water with whale watching cruises from the harbor or an amphibious Duck Tour that travels both on land and along the Charles River. Beyond these, the city provides access to public art, outdoor markets, harbor islands, and a variety of trolley and walking tours covering its colonial history.

The DNP will provide endocrinology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering inpatient, outpatient, or both settings depending on availability. Clinical responsibilities include diabetes expertise and education, triage, urgent visits, in-basket management, and insulin pump management. Potential weekend call coverage is required from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:00 AM, with in-house work on Saturday and Sunday. Clinicians must hold an active state license, board certification, and prescriptive authority, and must have a minimum of one year of inpatient and/or outpatient endocrinology experience as an APP.
