Job Description
Seeking a full time Urgent Care Physician for Urgent Care practice in Orland, CA 95969
The position involves working in a Walk-in Acute Care Clinic as well as the opportunity to see patients in a standard, appointment based, primary care clinic both located at the same site.
A general practitioner or a board certified/board eligible in Family Practice or General Internal Medicine would both be considered.
The candidate should be comfortable with suturing simple or intermediate lacerations, simple splinting and initial management of soft tissue injuries and simple fractures, but we can train someone with limited experience in these areas.
Very little pediatric care is performed and for an internist, there will usually be someone on shift to cover younger patients.
The office based primary care practice will trend toward an older population due to Paradise being an older demographic.
We have a state of the art EMR with seamless integration of charts among all walk-in clinics and all primary care clinics.
Candidate must be able to establish rapport easily with patients, good at working with professional and non-professional team members, motivated to become part of the system and build their own practice, ethical, and flexible
