Part-Time Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Location: Louisville, Ky

Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. [16–24] hours/week) ability to go full-time once patient appointments increase

As an independent primary care practice, we value long-term patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and a balanced work environment. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate MD or DO to join our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of ages 18+.
• Perform routine wellness exams, manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate specialty referrals.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system (PARADIGM) and our AI charting assistance, HEIDI.
• Collaborate with our team of medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow and high quality of care.
• Participate in light call/after-hours coverage and PA supervision shared among providers (if applicable).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of [State].
• DEA: Valid DEA registration and state controlled substance license.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent bedside manner, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, independent office setting.

Schedule & Work Load

• Hours: Flexible part-time schedule ([e.g., 2 to 3 days per week]).
• Volume: Typically [8-13] patients per day to ensure quality time with each patient.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Hourly Rate / Salary:$100.00 per hour, while seeing patients,  to start
• Malpractice insurance coverage while employed
• Paid Time Off (PTO) / Sick leave pro-rated for part-time status.
• CME stipend / allowance.
