Primary Care physician Detroit, MI
Summary/Objective:
Primary Care physician will perform various functions to ensure the wellness of patients who have been referred for diagnosis/treatment of vascular disease.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of call for patients
- Make sure that emphasis is laid on early detection of ailments, prevention, and wellness.
- Identify and refer patients to the appropriate specialist/surgeon for a procedure based on the nature of the ailment and the health needs of the patients
- Act as a middle-man between patients and surgeons in case of more complex medical conditions
- Responsible for managing and directing general physician medical care
- Participate in the process of identifying risks for serious or acute problems and make plans to hinder their development/growth.
Education & Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Current Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) required.
- Must have a current active state license to practice in the state
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role or capacity
