Job Description
Internal Medicine, a busy practice located in Trenton, MI, has an excellent employment opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine physician. This full-time position encompasses inpatient and outpatient patient care in a private internal medicine office.
Our office, comprised of one physician, two physician assistants, and a nurse practitioner, serves as the Resident Clinic for an ACGMI accredited Internal Medicine residency program. This is an excellent opportunity for teaching students and residents in an outpatient and inpatient setting where our emphasis is on comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
The position also entails serving as teaching faculty for the Beaumont Trenton Hospital Internal Medicine residency program, a dually accredited, ACGME certified residency, which also requires teaching rounds, scholastic activity, and monthly to weekly didactic sessions for the residents.
We stress maintaining a nurturing environment with a strong support staff, where patient care is of the utmost importance.
Candidate will perform office visits as well as telehealth visits. EMR is Athena Health. Expected patient load daily is approx. 20-25. Hospital rounds and intermittent coverage of rehab facility (paired with mid-level). Normal tasks associated with daily patient load.
Competitive salary Base salary at $180,000 -$200K Plus bonuses
Bonus structure is derived from provider performance in MSSP and PGIP Incentive programs.
