Job Description
Central Michigan hospital is seeking a Family Medicine physician for a faculty position with their residency program. Located less than an hour north of Lansing, this community is known for its small town ambience with tons of outdoor recreation, and only a short drive to the scenic beauty of the Lake Michigan and Lake Huron shorelines. Patient & Procedure Mix: All aspects of family medicine: the physical, emotional, and social health from birth through adulthood, including health services ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.. Schedule: Full-time, schedule flexible surrounding the inpatient and outpatient components. Call: 1:5 with hospital medicine providers assisting with night call. Clinical duties include: hospital rounds with FMS resident team, precepting all levels of residents in the family medicine outpatient office, working with medical students, and direct patient care hours.. Highly competitive compensation plan with a full benefit package. $100K sign on bonus.
