Locum Primary Care Assignment - Albuquerque, NM area
Job Description
Clinic is seeking a locum BC/BE Primary Care physician to provide full-time coverage
--Dates of Coverage: September, on-going while recruiting for a perm provider
--Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; no call, no late clinics, no after-hours charting
--100% outpatient
--8–14 patients per day
--Full-spectrum family medicine from newborns to retirees (if Internal Medicine, they can see 18+ and the FNPs can see pedi patient)
--Value-based care model — not fee-for-service; no insurance billing and no RVU structure
--Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions; perform comprehensive physical examinations
--Develop individualized treatment plans; promote wellness and preventive care; coordinate specialty referrals
--Order and interpret diagnostic testing; participate in quality improvement initiatives
--EMR: Elation
--Required: NM license, BLS, DEA, clean background/no malpractice or license issues
