This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care and urgent care services to an adult patient population within a secure clinical environment. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with on-site support staff including nurses, paramedics, and EMTs to assist with daily clinical operations. Clinical workflows are structured to address both chronic care management and acute care needs of the patient population served.

The ABQ BioPark - a multi-feature complex spanning a zoo, aquarium, botanical gardens, and Tingley Beach - and the 16-mile Paseo Del Bosque Trail along the Rio Grande provide additional outdoor options. About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care and urgent care services to adult patients at a correctional facility, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with consideration for four 10-hour shifts. The expected caseload is 10-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing both chronic care management and urgent care procedures. Clinicians must be comfortable managing chronic conditions as well as performing urgent care procedures within a correctional clinical environment. Required credentials include a state NP license, DEA registration, and ACLS certification; board certification is negotiable, prescriptive authority is required, and credentialing is estimated at approximately 90 days.
