Family Medicine Physician – Ohio

A patient-centered, integrated healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join its team in Marion, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic primary care services for patients across the lifespan
• Perform evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and develop treatment plans
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Manage same-day and acute outpatient visits, including urgent-care-type presentations
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR
• Partner with behavioral health, dental, nursing, and care-coordination teams
• Participate in quality improvement, population health, and community health initiatives
• Educate patients on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Family Medicine Obstetrics certification preferred, if applicable
• Active Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Active DEA registration or eligibility
• Experience or strong interest in community health and underserved populations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, patient-centered care
