Family Medicine Faculty Opportunity - Near Pittsburgh, PA!!

Job responsibilities

Clinical practice including inpatient and outpatient - 80%
o   17-20 patients per day in the office depending on med student involvement
o   Rounding for the office average 6-8 per day
o   Starting in the office late on rounding weeks

Teaching/administrative  responsibilities - 20% including
o   Teaching residents on the inpatient service when rounding for the office (shared or every 5th week with the other 4 faculty at the location)
o   Having medical students in the office
o   3-5 lectures per year
o   Complete resident/student evaluations within 2 weeks of request
o   After a period of 6-12 mths, rotating on the inpatient service  2-4 weeks a year
o   Night call (only for the residents - no direct patient calls)  2-4 times a month
o   Weekend call or rounding 8-10 times a year (1/2 call and ½ rounding only)
