The Opportunity

(Login for Information) is seeking a compassionate, community-minded Family Practice Physician to join our team at the Mossyrock Clinic in rural East Lewis County. This is an opportunity to build lasting patient relationships, provide broad-spectrum primary care, and make a meaningful difference in a close-knit community—while enjoying a four-day workweek and the natural beauty of the Cascade foothills.

Mossyrock offers the welcoming pace of a rural community with access to many of the Pacific Northwest’s signature experiences. Located along the White Pass Scenic Byway, the area is surrounded by forests, lakes, rivers, and mountain landscapes. Nearby Mayfield Lake, Riffe Lake, Ike Kinswa State Park, and Mossyrock Park offer year-round opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The region also provides access to biking, hunting, skiing, and white-water recreation, with Mount Rainier National Park, Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, and Mount Adams country within the broader recreation area. What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered family medicine services across the lifespan in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Build trusted relationships with patients, families, clinical colleagues, and community partners.
• Maintain timely, accurate medical records and manage clinical communications in accordance with organizational standards.
• Participate in clinic, provider, peer review, medical staff, and assigned committee meetings.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and serve as a provider champion when assigned.
• Collaborate with the broader (Login for Information) care team to coordinate safe, high-quality care.
• You will share hospitalist call rotation with 5 other physicians.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current or eligible for Washington State physician licensure.
• Current or eligible for DEA registration.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
• Eligible for appointment to the (Login for Information) medical staff and enrollment with applicable payers.
• Commitment to collaborative care, timely documentation, quality improvement, and service to a rural community.

• Paid time off: 250 hours per calendar year for a full-time, 1.0 FTE physician working four 10-hour days. PTO includes personal vacation and the seven District-recognized holidays and is prorated for partial years. PTO must be used in the year earned and does not roll over.
• Continuing medical education: 40 hours of CME time and a $5,000 annual allowance for a full-time physician, prorated for partial years.
• Professional expenses: The CME allowance may be used, subject to reimbursement policies and documentation requirements, for eligible CME travel, lodging, meals, and professional memberships or fees such as Washington medical licensure, DEA registration, and medical staff dues.
• Extended illness leave: Accrues at the District’s standard benefit rate and is administered under District policy.
• Additional benefits: Eligibility for the standard benefits offered to employed physicians, subject to plan terms, contribution requirements, and minimum FTE requirements.
