Job Description
We are a growing practice seeking a full-time primary care family / internal medicine physician in Vancouver, WA 98661.
Duties to include:
· Provide comprehensive primary care to patients aged birth to geriatric. This includes child wellness visits, female checkups, male checkups and treatment of chronic diseases within the scope of practitioner license. Experience treating and managing chronic conditions common to primary care including but not limited to management of weight, fitness, chronic pain, psychiatric conditions and social factors.
· Provide treatment of acute injury or illness in an urgent care setting including but not limited to suturing minor lacerations, minor wounds, minor fractures, contusions, infections, etc.
· Supervise mid-level providers to continually improve quality of patient care in a collaborative work environment.
· Experience with meeting quality measures, participation in meaningful use, and maintaining patient centered primary-care-home desired.
· Work with a diverse population including a large Medicaid population.
Requirements:
1 year professional experience in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Current License (MD or DO) to practice in WA
Ability to participate in CMS, WA Medicaid Credentialing, and with contracted insurance providers
Post-offer, pre-employment background check
