Inpatient Gastroenterology Locums Job near Orlando, Florida | Seeking Christmas weekend coverage | December 24-28

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility located about an hour 1/2 outside of Orlando that needs GI inpatient weekday coverage this Christmas & ongoing into 2027. They are seeking one physician to help with coverage over the Christmas holiday & to assist with weekend and/or up to a week per month at aa time in 2027. This is an inpatient 24-hour call coverage need, cross covering a main campus and a smaller 2nd facility in tandem. Look forward to a high-volume, consistent locums opportunity that will extend into 2027 and until the facility can identify a new permanent hire.

Coverage need:
* Thursday, December 24 at 7AM - Monday, December 28 at 7AM
* Orientation is required to be done on a Wednesday or Friday prior to coverage

Details/Requirements 
- Central Florida, about 90 minutes from Orlando
- Active Florida license and current Board Certification is required at time of presentation
- Seeking Christmas coverage & up to one week per month, Friday at 7AM – Friday at 7AM, in 2027
- Schedule: Monday–Friday inpatient coverage starting at 7AM until finished, will be covering the ED & doing procedures, consultations, patient rounding)
- High volume assignment; Can anticipate 10-12 hour days regularly and 18-22 PPD 
- Will cover 2 facilities (175+ bed facility and a 25 bed acute care facility) 19 miles apart that are of the same health system/require 1 privileging process (Will only do procedures at the main facility)
- Will only do procedures at the main, larger 175+ bed facility, and will round at the 2nd as needed
- No trauma designation, Epic EMR
- Bread & butter GI coverage; ERCP preferred but not required
