Inpatient GI Hospitalist Physician Locums Job | Tampa, Florida Area | One Week per Month of Coverage Starting in October + Ongoing
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility in the Tampa area that needs 1 week per month of inpatient GI Hospitalist coverage starting in October 2026 & ongoing into 2027. Look forward to working in one of the most highly rated facilities in the Tampa area with a strong GI team that is needing some additional support while recruiting for a new addition.
Dates of coverage:
--Monday, October 12 at 7AM - Monday, October 19 at 7AM
--Monday, November 9 at 7AM - Monday, November 16 at 7AM
--Monday, December 7 at 7AM - Monday, December 14 at 7AM
--Monday, December 28 at 7AM - Monday, January 4 at 7AM (covering over New Years Day)
Details/Requirements for Assignment #117053:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Must be actively Board Certified and/or truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency/fellowship)
-- Bread & Butter GI coverage to include ERCP (strong preference for candidates who can do ERCP)
-- Can anticipate 8-12 ED admissions per day + 2-3 procedures/day
-- 24/7 anesthesia support available
-- Will rotate call coverage with 3 other GIs (each covering 1 week/month)
-- Inpatient APP support is TBD
-- Epic EMR, 150 + beds
