| Central FL- Gastroenterology Two Options: #1 Hospital Employed Setting. There are two GIs in the service area (private group) Call: 1 in 3 - to be arranged (with existing GIs in community), 7 days of call per month (ER) per hospital bylaws. Office Space: several office space options available. #2 Join private group of 2 Call 1 in 3 2 office locations Reason for Search: physician/population ratios, availability of service, out-migration, expected population growth. Lack of Coverage at hospital. Candidate Requirements: training / experience in ERCP / Endoscopic Ultrasound. Hospital currently has Fujinon equipment in the endoscopy suite, and looking at replacing within the year to Olympus and Fujinon. Anesthesia coverage 24/7 by 3 Anesthesiologists, 4 CRNAs, 5 OR suites in the main OR, 2 suites for Women's Services and three endoscopy rooms, OR/Endo block times Area is underserved for GI Competitive Financial package being offered. 2,000 scopes being done in area currently. Centrally located between Orlando and Tampa, the rea has become a major destination for families all over the world. Because of its location, it is one of the fastest growing cities in the County. |
