Coverage Dates
-- December 21 (7am) – December 28 (7am)

Shift Details
-- 24-hour call coverage with rounding, 7am-7am
-- Weekend coverage required as part of the schedule

Requirements
-- Board certified in Gastroenterology
-- Active Georgia license
-- Georgia DEA/CSR
-- BLS and ACLS
-- Clean malpractice and background for quick credentialing
-- Provider must be local; no flights

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Bread and Butter GI
-- ERCP training preferred

Assignment Details
-- 24-hour call coverage with no clinic responsibilities
-- Inpatient rounding, procedures as needed, and ED and inpatient consult coverage
-- Coverage includes existing GI patients and new consults with handoff to local GI team
-- Five local gastroenterologists provide ongoing coverage outside locum shifts
-- 196-bed acute care hospital setting
-- Level II Trauma Center
-- Adult inpatient population; pediatric patients seen in the ER only
-- EMR: Epic
