Inpatient-only Gastroenterology opportunity available in Des Moines, Iowa. Advanced therapeutic support is on-site, and there is Nurse Practitioner support throughout the day and on-call during the night. Advanced GI fellowship is not needed to be considered, however, the ideal candidate will be able to start this year.$690,000 base salary, pick up extra call to push total earnings to $750,000. 7 on / 7 off schedule. Academic appointment/IM residency. Integrated endoscopy suite. 13 patient census on average per weekday. Des Moines offers a large community with easy access to travel with their international airport, very safe neighborhoods, low cost of living and ample recreation and entertainment options.. In-house Anesthesia, Interventional Radiology, Cytopathology. Two weeks on/two weeks off schedule . 800-bed hospital.
