Job Description

An award-winning healthcare organization is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its dedicated inpatient GI service in Southeast Missouri. This 100% inpatient GI hospitalist role offers a structured, blocked schedule built for an outstanding balance between career success and personal well-being.

Position Highlights
  • Flexible blocked scheduling model — 168 shifts per year, with the option to pick up additional shifts
  • Inpatient-only practice working closely with the outpatient GI group
  • Strong collaborative relationship with the ED team keeps overnight call minimal
  • Average of 10-12 scopes per day
  • Advanced procedures (ERCP/EUS) welcomed but not required
  • Dedicated inpatient GI APP support Monday-Friday

    Compensation & Benefits
  • $750,000 never-ending guaranteed base salary + APP Stipend
  • Additional shifts compensated at $3,600 per shift beyond 14 shifts/month
  • $100,000 sign-on bonus
