- Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5 pm (10-hour shifts) plus weekend call
- 10 - 15 patients per shift -- inpatient rounding
- Inpatient hospital-based gastroenterology coverage
- Call ratio 1:4 -- beeper call with 15 - 30 minute response time
- Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, PEG, and lower GI procedures required
- Small bowel biopsy and flexible sigmoidoscopy skills required
- Ongoing coverage -- one week per month plus one weekend call per month
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
