Gastroenterology Position - Myrtle Beach area
Job Description
- Medical Center is seeking a Gastroenterologist who does ERCP
- Join 5 other employed GI’s and 3 NPs
- 50/50 split on clinic lab & Endoscopy
- Endoscopy Area renovated in 2022
- Currently 4 procedure rooms and 8 holding rooms (pre and post operative area)
- Scopes – Olympus 180 and 190 series (HD scopes)
- C-Arm is available in the department
- Colonoscopies are done with Propofol and anesthesia support
- All of our procedures are done with propofol in our unit, but if the doctor travels to ICU to do a procedure where anesthesia is not there, then they would do that procedure with conscious sedation
-8 day call 1 & 4;
- Consultation Services only for IP
- No tech specifics are required
- 3+ weeks wait time
- 5K cases, 500 IP / 4500 OP
