Inpatient Procedure Locums Job in Coastal Virginia | Seeking M + F Coverage OR 1 Week per Month in January - June 2027

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the Virginia Coast that needs GI inpatient procedure coverage starting in January 2027 & ongoing through June 2027 at a minimum due to a staffed GI cutting back hours in the new year. The facility is seeking procedure coverage only with no nights, weekends or clinic needs. 

Coverage Need: 
* 8-hour procedure days Monday & Friday of each week January - June OR
* Monday - Friday once per month in January - June

Details/Requirements #117496:
- Active + unrestricted Virginia medical license + DEA required
- Active Board Certification and/or true Eligibility required
- Must have strong procedure skills and be able to do 12-14 procedures within an 8 hour period each day
- No night or weekend call needs currently, no clinic needs 
- Can anticipate a majority of cases being colonoscopy screenings 
- All procedures done onsite on main facility campus' OR / procedure room
- Will work a single room in most situations (flip room ONLY if a physician is off)
- Will have full anesthesia support (no conscious sedation required)
- EPIC EMR, 1.5 hours from closest major airport, smaller facility, not a designated trauma center
