Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a diverse pediatric GI practice that combines outpatient care, procedures, teaching, and collaboration within one of the nation's leading pediatric health systems. The role is structured to provide approximately two days per week in Milford, along with clinical and procedural time at (Login for Information) Children's Hospital, Delaware and other regional locations as needed.
Milford serves as a primarily outpatient location, allowing physicians to build relationships with patients and families in an underserved region while maintaining access to the full breadth of pediatric gastroenterology practice through the larger division.
About the Practice
- Join a division of 11 Pediatric Gastroenterologists, including Pediatric Hepatologists and subspecialty expertise across the GI spectrum.
- Participate in outpatient clinics, procedures, inpatient coverage, and fellow clinics.
- Typical clinical schedule includes outpatient practice, procedural time, and participation in the division's inpatient service.
- Approximately 7-8 patients per clinical session.
- Opportunity to practice across multiple locations while maintaining a strong presence in the Milford community.
- Open to experienced physicians and graduating fellows.

Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Delaware
- Eligible for medical staff membership at (Login for Information) Children's Health
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship training program
- Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centered pediatric care
