This position requires travel and regular clinical coverage at both our Glen Mills, PA and North Wilmington, DE Urgent Care locations. Providers will work a combination of weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the Urgent Care schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
- Obtain, compile, and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes, and results of physical examinations.
- Interpret diagnostic test results and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including injections, suturing, wound care, fracture splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
- Make provisional diagnoses and clinical management decisions.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Two to three years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in Pediatric Urgent Care or a Pediatric Emergency Department setting
- Eligible for or currently holding unrestricted medical licensure in both Delaware and Pennsylvania
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Ability and willingness to provide coverage at both the Glen Mills, PA and North Wilmington, DE Urgent Care sites
